Terms and Conditions for venue hire


1)Wagtails will not be responsible for the provision of any event requirements other than the venue and the following items:

2 Very Large Trolly Tables,
6 x 8-Seater tables,
40 x Chairs,
2 x kiddies tables,
12 x kiddies chairs,
Can Opener
1 x Fridge freezer with 24 ice trays,
1 x Kettle,
1 x Urn and 1 x Microwave,
40 x Dinner plates,
3x Serving Platters
40 x side plates,
40 x Pudding bowls, 
40 x Knives,
40 x Forks,    
40 x Pudding spoons,
40 x mugs,
40 x teaspoons,
40 x Glasses,
6 x water jugs.

Serving Spoons,


2)Music will be allowed but only for the client’s event attendees to hear. Any louder and the client will be ordered to turn it down or off.


3)The client will be held responsible for any missing or damaged property.

4)Prices for the venue
are as follows:

R1200.00 from 8:00am - 1:00pm
R1200.00 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm
R1800.00 from 7:00pm - 12:00pm

R300.00 cash deposit must be lodged with Wagtails before the collection of the keys and will be returned to client after a venue inspection. Missing or damaged fixtures will be repaired or replaced with the deposit and the balance returned to the client.

5)Any booking cancelled 7 days or less before the event will result in the client forfeiting their payment.
6)The client must ensure that the venue is left in the same state in which it was found. This includes packing away tables and chairs and cleaning up.
7)If the venue hire fee payment is not made 7 days prior to the event, the booking will be cancelled.

8)No liability shall be incurred or accepted by Wagtails in relation to:
1. Damage of personal property
2. The loss of any possessions
3. Injury or death to/of anyone attending the event hosted by the client.

9)Wagtails Venue is
fully fenced with a large play area and can be locked.
